Other notable NZ competitions are the NZIPP IRIS awards (www.nzipp.org.nz) and the Kodak Gold awards (www.kodak.co.nz). Not sure what goes on on the west island ;)

hey Tina the photographer that won the Threatened Animals and Plants section did a talk at our digital night the other night at BCG. Very inspirational as you know I want to head that way. here is his site www.darrenjew.com. Amazing work.

The shot on the front page was taken by Rob Gray, he won second in the Abstract section I believe.

Rob was a member of the group in Canberra I was part of. A very nice fellow, travels around the country now.
