I shot this at Spanich Cove in northern Grand Cayman. It was taken right at dusk before the night set in. As usual, it was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel and it was edited in Photoshop Elements.

sorry, I don't like it.. the horizon line seams to me to be not horizontal and the foreground is underexposed...

Instead of only telling you I like or I don't like, I will advise you on how to improve. That's what this forum is about.
Besides the horizon not being horizontal the image is overexposed and there's a flare/ghost from sun to water and over the rocks at the bottom. As well as a flare on the left. I don't know if the rebel has spot metering but if it does, try metering on the sky left top next time and fix the lighting using the * button on the camera. Then recompose and shoot... If it does not have spot metering try different exposures until the histogram shows you're OK.
Also I think that you should have waited and taken a shot later when either the sun was lower or just a bit more behind the clouds. To reduce reflections on water use a polarizer. This filter will kill the vertically polarized light that causes the highlight in the water.
To compensate for large difference in light intensity between rocks and sky a neutral density gradient filter should help. It stops down the sky but leaves the rocks uneffected.
Also try dividing your shot into 1/3ds. It not a law but try it.
What I like about this picture is the way the chrashing wave is frozen!
I hope all these suggestions help you out. The best advice always is: keep shooting and HAVE FUN. Let's see more and keep asking what is NOT good about them!
