I have heard that there are some factory refurbished D30's for sale, somewhere, for about $1400. Does anyone know where those can be found?
I have seen some D30's from New York dealers for the $1350 to $1700 range but they look scary at best. I think I can trust a refurbished from Canon more but my searches have gone nowhere.

Many of the lower priced D30 (around $1500 + or - ) are not necessarily refurbished. They may simply be the international version. Ask whomever you are buying from if it is a USA version or an international version. Canon will not warranty the international version here in the US. Some dealers will, but that is striclty a dealer decision.

Also, be sure to check out the retailer whom you are buying the camera from. You can do so at

Yeah I got the same thing.

Either it is a temporary glitch or they sold out. Check back in a day or two. It was a really cool site. Hope it is still around.
