Had a great day today at Donington:D The traffic was gridlock going in and out, but it was worth it. The F1 car sounded :cool::cool::cool:

Those Renault Alpine A110's are fantastic. One of my favourites. Forgive my ignorance but who is the bloke in the sunglasses, and can I see the original?

I've not idea who he is, just a guy in the crowd who stood out.
Here's the original uncropped:

I really like the panning on 4 and 5, great bit of blur in the background. You're not wrong about the traffic problems, it was horrendous but apparently 57000 people attended which is pretty impressive. The fog first thing in the morning was a bit of nightmare as well.
I'll post some pics in a couple of days, I have some work commitments to deal with first.

Yeh Sunday was very busy, 57000 people, took AGES to get out and then got stitched up as the signs said right lane for M1 South yet it was A42 toward Birmingham... lol
I couldn't believe how busy the Saturday was, 38000 I think they said. I never expected that, kind of expected more on the Sunday... was just an excellent day. Will go through my shots during the week :)

Yeah thoes two did come out well. Both were taken at 1/60s.
I used a 350D with an aging 75-300 F4-5.6 IS lens

Why have you cropped the shots to make the cars look like they are travelling uphill?

They have not been cropped at all, It's just the angle I was holding the camera.
