Took these shots on my last trip on another dull, was wanting to try some long shutter speed shots anyway.
I tried some different effects on them and was wanting to see what you thought.
The first one has an Tv of 20sec, added some Diffuse Glow.

The second one has a Tv of 4sec, added some grain to this one.

Any comments appreciated.

I think the glow and the noise have spoilt the pictures,i`d like to see them without the effects.

I like the unprocessed ones. I find the branch in #2 a bit distracting though.

Thanks Sander for the comment.
The branch was meant to be a focal point ;)

Reading my request now,i just realised that i was rude, the least i could add would be....if possible.
Thank you for your reply, you didn`t have to.
I do actually like the first one as per original,it has a nice Scottish moode to it.
The 2nd one has a lovely variety of colours in the fg,why hide it?;)

It's no prodlem Dimitri, I didn't take it that way :)
Thought I would post one with a little bit of sunshine in it to show it shines here sometimes ;)

I'll have to agree with Dimitri as the last one is very nice. Only thing is to make your text a tad smaller not to bunch up the framing.

I cringe when I see absolutely perfect images spoilt with some of the gaudy bells and buzzers of PS, So I'm glad you realised the error of your ways :) , and presented a pair of excellent images, particularly the 2nd, with the FG log being the most important element , try putting your finger over it, it doesn't work without it.
Well done.

I'm going to buck the trend here and say I really liked that second PP'd shot.
Dare to be different! It's a very dark and moody sort of image. Kinda suits my personality
A darker sky would have been even better.
