Hi All,

After some thinking I bought a G5, wondering where I can find good info on the net, or other resources that will aid me with this beauty.

regards,

Harry

HI,

congrats on the purchase and a very good choice!

You can try www.dpreview.com - although it is primarily a review site it has a lot of information within the in-depth reviews about exactly how to use the camera.

And of course, if you look at the G3 info then it also applies to the G5 as the controls are pretty much identical.

Regards

Roy

Also, Steves-digicams.com, digitmate.com, dcresource.com. Lensmateonline.com, the latter is a seller of adaptors, but have a good article on macro photography, and are pretty honest when it comes to recommending lenses for add-ons.

Congratulations on your purchase.

You're going to have a great deal of fun with this excellent, flexible and capable camera.

In addition to the sites noted above, check out this one:

Lots of good stuff there too. The learning curve with these high-end point and shoot cameras is pretty steep. It took me some time to feel comfortable with the camera and to make it conform with my wishes.

One year,m and 7500 images, after purchasing my G3 I'm still learning a great deal. You're going to have fun!
