Welcome to POTN. How did you get so much light on his face in #1? It is a terrific shot. I hate hats on musicians! I shot Dwight Yoakam last Friday and he wears a cowboy hat and makes sure it blocks the spotlights, so there is no way to get a decent image of his face. We have a few Texas concert shooters here. Welcome aboard.

Thanks Dwight. These were shot in RAW. So rather than bracketing multiple exposures, I create one overexposed layer and one properly exposed layer. I put the overexposed layer under and mask the top layer and gently brushed the face away. The 2nd one I just left as is out of the camera. I think I was about a foot or two away in each shot.
