Would appreciate c&c on this. Anything I could do to improve this? Its got some ps post work on it (curves and the black bars)

I love the color of the water,the wall on the right side, and the perspective. I would straighten the horizon line. Also, selectively darken the light colored concrete. My two cents worth.

yeah , the first thing that would come to mind is the horizon like mentioned by Bob, i would probably try to 'darken' the top part of the sky a bit to make it simialr to the color of the water (well close anyway) but that's just personal preference i guess, it is not something that will make or break the pic, nice pic btw..

Not too sure what you mean by selectively darkening the concrete, but I get the leveling of the horizon. I didnt even see it until you pointed it out. here's the adjusted pic.

Selective darkening: select the concrete, copy paste it into a new layer and choose the filter to darken that layer. flatten the filter to the layer using ctrl/E.
