C&C welcomed. This is a view from one side of the bay at Nicholl's Town, Andros, in the Bahamas. Crystal clear water, blue skies, but oh it was sooooooooo hot!! This was taken two weeks ago, around noon, a couple of days before Ernesto passed by.

So beautifully captured.

Beautiful shot, E-A. It sure looks idyllic, but I believe you when you say it's hot. Here in Maine (this past couple weeks), we've also had beautiful weather...with highs in the 60's and 70's. It's why I leave FL in the summer.

Been chilly in Wyoming/Colorado for the past week. I miss the summertime. It just never seems to last very long. Great shot! Makes me want to take a long needed vacation!

Hello Elizabeth,

Lovely as usual... no traffic... no pollution... no noise... no parking problems... sigh. I am attempting to pretend that I am not jealous.

What about Ernesto photos - did you take any of the damage? This year the hurricanes seem to be tracking way further north... I hope this doesn't mean your beautiful Island will get hit again.

Gordon has appeared but hopefully he heads north east and misses you.... http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/nwatl/loop-vis.html

Cousin. ;)

Ernesto was not a problem for us - just a pretty normal overcast rainy day with a little breeze. However, we have been getting storm surge for the past couple of days from Florence and Gordon, and have had some significant sea wall damage on the western end of the island. The surge is forecast to continue for a couple more days. Unfortunately, I have been busy this week, but I did get a couple of shots yesterday just up the road from our house. Will post them in another thread shortly.

WOW! This is a postcard-class photo. What a beautiful scenery! The water is crystal clear. I want to dive into it.

We've just had three days of rain on and off, and looking at that image makes me want to be there!!

It must be difficult living there with all that lovely sun and scenery :-)
