I love that wood planking in the forest. Again, the path is nice but in the trees there are a lot of similar things that almost blend together, it almost overwhelms me trying to figure out what is what in the trees. Maybe the color version would help or a different crop but those background trees just blend too much for my tastes.

a little noise maybe.. give it some grit .. nice location though and the black and white works well for me here

With all due respect to the above critiques, (I certainly can see your point)…
To me the capture is awesome. Presented is a clumsy orderly construct of man, the wooden boardwalk, venturing into the order of nature. While the forest seems chaotic, which is the true order, nature or the boardwalk? I like the capture. If you presented it in color, it would elicit an entirely different emotion.
As I said, I mean no disrespect to the previous critics, I can see their point. However, to the photographer…I like it.
