My Canon dealer just sent me 2 ball point pens, and a very nice flashlight with the Canon logo on it with my last order. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that in the last 2 months I bought from him a 17-40 L, a 70-200 F4 L, and a 550 EX speedlight...of course last year I bougth my D60 from him!
What a nice guy.

Ball point pens and a flashlight?

Wow. Maybe we need to sign a petition or something.

I have often wondered why there isn't an outlet for some nice looking Canon EOS apperal and trinkets.

Every gun manufacturer has an adequate line of items sports their logos. Why should Canon EOS be any different.

Over the years I have received from Canon a butt bag, a hat, an umbrella, a monopod pad, various pins, bottled water, beef jerky and had them work on a lense at no charge.
Helps when they have a CPS office at the venue.

Yes, I really wanted one of those Canon shirts. I didn't want the small or medium ones, and I had to go for the "L" model. I think that means it has a wide neck aperture.

Guess I have to go with the "XL", my mount won't accept the "L".

Bwhahahahahaha I know what you mean Bob. Fortunately I did get the "L" model.

imago57 a buttbag as they are commonly called here in the midwest is a bag with a belt attached to it. Zippered top and you wear it around your waist, in front, to one side or on the back and pull it around when you want to get into it, hence....the buttbag.

In California, it is referred to as a fanny pack (if worn in back). If worn in front, it is referred to as a kangaroo pouch. It's all the same thing.

I think in NYC we call it a "messenger" bag, since it is the choice of the byke messengers in this city.
Thanks for the clarification, Bob.

Now, should I start designing a line of clothing for this crowd? It would be very easy...just make everything, pants, shirts, jackets, caps, white with a big L logo and a red line on it!!

Regards:

Max.

I'm no expert on this, but I think a messenger bag is larger than a fanny pack. The messenger bag typically hangs on one shoulder and is about large enough to hold a laptop computer. Bike messengers use them in urban areas where traffic is bad.

Yea, out here in Portland, those messenger guys really mess up traffic as they zip through traffic using their laptops.

;D

I like the IS line of Zoom T-Shirts. That way it still fits as I expand. But it keeps my Image Stabalized so I don't look heavier. LOL!
