The title's pretty self explanitory. All were taken with my D30. I would be grateful for any comments you have to offer.

More great shots. The flowers are lovely -- the colors are so complementary, thick, and alive. Much better than anything that I have taken.

How did you get that deep blue/purple background ?

I usually try to shoot a photo with as much contrast as possible, usually looking for an outdoor subject lit by the sun. In this case I good lucky and I had a flower lit by the sun with some rocks in the background. From there I just adjusted the hue a little along with the saturation.
