Uncashed Rebate Check?

Just found an uncashed $30 rebate check from tamron that I received a year ago, should I burn it or can I do something to get this check turn into money? :confused:

yeah it is. so there's nothing that I can do to get another check from them?

call and tell them it was never received?? Then throw a fit because you never got the rebate :D

Speak to them. A cheque is cash. It it time limited to prevent fraud. I think they would probably re-issue a cheque.

It can't hurt to ask. I agree with contacting them and asking if it can be reissued.

My situation was worse... I forgot to send in the rebate for my two canon lenses.. cost me about $90. :( I remembered finally and checked the date and it was a day too late for the postmark date. I probably should have sent it anyway, but I didn't. Occasionally you'll get it if it's close enough to the date. C'est la vie.
