hi all, i've just really started to spend more time processing and experimenting with my photos.
but i can't decide which one to have...black and white or color.
I only decreased saturation by -100 to achieve the b&w effect.
thanks

try doing a different balck and white.
go to channel mixer, mono chrome, and adjust the red/green/blue values independently. I like a lot of red in mine. Both look good, but I think the B&W could have a bit more contrast to it

I definitely prefer the colour version. The pale browns, golds and light greens evoke a strongly autumnal atmosphere, which I think is lost in the B&W version...

I like the color version also. I think it looses a bit when converted to bw.

This is an image that benefits in color form, the BW sort of dulls the image.

Use the channel mixer to convert to B/W

I love black and white pics but in this case I much prefer the colour version. Got that 'late summer' feel. Basically, what StewartR said. But I'm no expert, I just like it in colour.
