I have been asked to shoot team photos of one of our local soccer teams. That in itself is not a problem, but they are being sponsored by a local company who has ordered warm-ups for the boys with their corporate name on the back of the jackets, and the photos need to have the corporate logo visible.

Any creative suggestions?

I have seen some great help being offered by some, so I am hoping you can come through for me.

Thanks,
Mike

maybe have one person on each side hang a jacket forward over the shoulder?

OK....My head hurts now ;)

If the front row is seated, have the jacket over their legs with the rear showing....Or some sort of giant mirror !??!?!?!

Is there any way you could shoot the team like you normally would (without considering the corporate logo) and then add the logo in the corner in post production? It wouldn't have to be a large logo, but legible enough so that the company sponsors could be sated.
I shot the two Maytag guys for a client of mine and then added the logo in the top right corner in PS and they went ga-ga for it.

How about....facing away, with logo showing but turning their heads as far as they can towards the camera...arty style?

No? I'll get me coat.

Adam,
I actually thought about something like that, but I thought I would see if anyone had any other ideas.

I would think to do this too. Just take a normal team portrait, and then add the logo in as a graphic in the corner.
