This may be a stupid question, but does Extension Tubes increase the focal length of a Lens? I do know that they decrease the minimum focusing distance of a Lens. Also, will they work on ALL Canon, and Sigma Lens.

No they don't increase the focal length in the same way that an extender does. E-tubes will increase the magnification of the subject on the "film", but at the cost of infinity focus, i.e, your maximum focusing distance as well as the minimum will change.

E-tubes are used for macro/close-up photography.

The tubes are just that: tubes with electrical connections and will work with most (if not all) lenses.

Thanks, Roger. I have just been surfin the Net, and found out that what you say is very, very true. I don't know why I even posted this. My Canon Closeup Lens 250D, and the 500D serves my purpose just fine for macros with no loss of light. You can learn a lot by Surfin. :D:D Not with a Surfboard, though.
