Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum and sd630 and I've got a problem. I bought a Kingston 1GB Elite Pro memory card for my camera. Unfortunately, after using it for a while I got a 'memory card error' message. Now I need to buy a new one. And here comes my request. Could some of you guys, proffesionals, advice me an inexpensive, reliable (so I won't get this message again) and generally good memory card? I was thinking of a 1gb card, but I'm not sure if the capacity isn't the problem here. Thanks in advance :)

Just a thought here. Try and format the card to see if it will work.

I'm no pro, but, I typically buy Sandisk Ultra II type cards for my cameras.

I got the 1 gig SD for my SD700IS and it works nicely.

Thx CRE@TE.
I forgot to write about it, but I've tried to format it and I simply couldn't do that (even in sd card reader). Reading was impossible too. I gave the card back and now looking for a new, more reliable, one. Will be gratefull for your opinions :)

Did you check to make sure the SD is not in the LOCK position???

I'm a firm believer (to the tune of 23 or so GB of regular, Ultra II and Extreme III in CF and SD) in SanDisk cards.

Just remember that "reliable" and "inexpensive" don't often coexist.
