Dose your EF 70-200 f/4 L rattle too?

Hello there,

I just got my 70-200 f/4 L today from a reputable online dealer for my 10 D. To my surprise I found it rattles when you till it back and forth. The loose part is somewhere at front end inside the manual focus ring. I am not sure if it is supposed to be like that or something wrong with this particular copy. Does yours rattle too?

It functions very well, though. At least so far. Focuses super fast and images are super sharp.

My lense was purchased from B&H and it's solid no rattles. You might want to return it for a new one or go to a local pro shop and check out one of thiers.

Definitely not normal. I'd shoot that think right back to wherever it came from.
