I'm not sure this the right place to post this question, but I need a little help on how to size the font on my pictures. The thing is a friend of mind wants me to make some pictures of her little girl and put her name and date on the picture. (School type pictures) ... each time I've ever tried this it looks great on the screen, but then I can't see it on the print or the name is to big.... can anyone tell me how to size the font to the picture size i want.
Thanks for any help....

i use Microsoft Digital Images ... the picture size will go from a wallet size to maybe an 8x10... something like that.

Not sure many people use that. Didn't you get software with the camera you use?

I don't understand how the text can print out differently, size-wise, on paper from what's on the screen. Are you viewing the whole picture on the screen or just the part showing the text? If you display the whole image on the screen, that should give you an indication of the size of the text relative to the overal picture.
