D60 Pricing?

I heard that it should be 3500 or something.
I read somewhere that in Europe one can preorder it
for 3400 euros.
This is quite natural - it should costs original D30 price.
Law of the market - so price should fall dowd in the
same way as price of D30 did.

I'm in Japan and the store I go to tells me retail the retail price here for the D60 is 358,000 yen ($2691.72) for the kit that contains the same stuff the D30 had and available in Mid March the store told me that MAYBE they would start at 285,000yen ($2142.85) I got my order in.
The Body only price is 330,000 yen retail ($2481.20)and I didn't ask what the street prices will be like. It's gonna come out sometime in May.

Is it coming out in March or May? I'm confused, you mentioned both. Is the kit coming out at a seperate time than just the body?

If so, what is in the kit?

The Body+Kit will be hitting the stores in Japan mid March. The kit includes the battery charger, 1 battery, camera strap, Canon software, Adobe Photoshop 5LE, USB cable, video cable, etc. looks like a few more adaptors and cables then the D30. Oh and a 16MB CF memory.

The Body only will be released in May of 2002.
