Email Notification HELP!

Can someone PLEASE tell me why I receive literally 13 notifications for one reply!!! I love this forum and I love sharing the info and it helps me to know when someone has added, as I can't always check in. But I can't handle the 13 notifications each time, clogging my box.

Can someone tell me what I have done wrong or how to fix this. I would be eternally grateful.

Most likely you clicked email notifications next to the options box.

???Vegas what options box? For whatever reason I only got one of yours thanks! You must be a magician. Do you mean if I DON'T click the options box at the bottom of this reply page, I will still get a notification? Appreciate the help.

If you click the Email Notification box, you will be emailed every time someone posts to that thread. If you don't want to be notified any more, go back and edit your reply by unchecking that box.

Even though there are often several such notices in my mailbox, I've found them not to be a particular problem. All I do is sort the inbox by subject ('sender' works, too), select all the reply notices, right click delete, and they're gone. That's not a lot of trouble.
