The photos were taken weeks ago, but they're two of my all time favorites so far. They were taken using a Canon Digital Rebel with the 75-300mm IS lens (with IS turned off). Let me know what you think! :)

Is Dusky another term used to describe White Sided Dolphins? I've been whale watching for the past 6 years and these have always been referred to as N.A. White Sided.

Pacific White-sided Dolphin (Lagenorynchus obliquidens)
Dusky Dolphin (Lagenorhynchus obscurus)
Atlantic White-sided Dolphin (Lagenorhynchus acutus)

They are genetically related, but a distinctly different species. If you took these in the north Atlantic, then they are Atlantic White-sided Dolphin. The yellowish patch towards their tails prove that.

I said Dusky by accident. I am used to seeing Duskys regularly more south than this. They are white-sided... just the Atlantic version. Sorry for the confusion.
