I have a second hand Canon 70-210 f4 non L, the old one with push-pull zoom.
Does any one have a review of this lens ?.
Would it be worth to sell it and buy the 70-210 f4 L?

If you can swing it, the 70-200 f/2.8 non IS is a fast, sharp lens. It's great for sports. Add a 1.4 Extender and it becomes 100-280 f/4.

I agree with Scott. Whereas the newer f/4.0L is a really great lens (I have one), it’s really more of a lateral move for you. The non-IS f/2.8 version is much more of a significant step up, and if you have to wait a little longer to get it, it’s probably worth it. Otherwise, you’re just spending a fair amount of money to get rid of the push/pull zoom.
