photo posting

Okay guys,

I have run across the answer to the "how do you post a photo on the forum, not a link, but the actual photo" a million times, however I was not looking for that answer at the time. Now that I am, I can not find it anywhere. I have looked in the "search" area, no dice.

Anyhoo, is there anyone out there who can help a lost digital soul? :)

You don't post actual photos here, you only post a link, which shows up as a picture if you add a certain tag to the link.

First, you have to upload your picture to PBase, Smugmug, your own ISP, etc.

Then you have to know the address of that picture.

Then cut & paste the address into your post on this forum. Add the [ img ] tag to the beginning of your link, and the [ /img ] tag to the end of your link - like this:

[img*] http://home.att.net/~samplelink/myphoto.jpg [/img*]

NOTE: Disregard the "*" character above. I only put it there so that you could see the link, not the photo. For another example, click on the "help" function at the top of this page. Find where it says "UBBC Codes".
