Photographers that is.
For my college work this year I need to write small peices about 10-15 different photographers.
Doesnt matter from which genre of photography as long as some of thier work includes pictures of people.
So if you know of any photographers that you like please tell me thier names.
Google just isnt bringing up what I need. Ive got quite a few that im writing about now but would love to know some more that i might not have come across.
For one of the photographers I have to produce work in thier style as well and im stuck with who to choose.
They dont even have to be well known.
Thanks :)

Your welcome. I got bored here at work and have been perusing some of the links. Lots on interesting stuff. One thing I did notice though is that if your name starts with a “B” or “M”, or “S” you more likely to become a famous photog. And poor “Q”, no one, not a sole. All you “Q” guys get off your butts and get famous.:) :) :)

How about a local e. Chambre Hardman (http://www.mersey-gateway.org/server.php?show=nav.00100o) A great Liverpool photographer - and you can go to see his studio in Rodney Street which is owned by the National Trust!!

One of my favorites is Andrzej Dragan, photographer and digital imaging extroardinare. There are tons of people trying to duplicate his style, with little or no success.

As long as the OP isn't studying at the Uni of Southampton (which started doing degrees in "Coronation Street") then he should be OK.

Yousef Karsh.
This Ottawa photographer photographed the worlds greatest. Was renowned for bringing out the real person in their photograph. Has a picture of Churchill that is the best of any, really has the curmudgeon down pat.
If not worth writing about, definitly worth looking at his work. Google and pick one of the many that come up.
good luck,

Absolutely. I believe this is what was referred to by some minister a while back as a "Mickey Mouse degree". Heavens there are so many MM degrees you just wouldn't believe it. My pet hate is sociology degrees because it's a nothing degree - you don't have to do anything to pass it other than to write garbage. Mind, look at what happens to sociology graduates - they join Cleveland Social Services :p
