Hey --- I'm a complete newb to this website and have a question. I'm looking for a couple lenses, a wide angle and 2x or 3x telephoto lense for my A620. I was wondering which you would recommend and also which lense adapter for my camera you'd recommend.

Can lenses(especially telephoto) help create a greater Depth of Focus for my A620? Or say, an Aperture of F1.8?

No, telephoto lenses and wide apertures (e.g. f/1.8) tend to give less depth of focus. In other words, the foreground and background will be less in focus than the subject. For greater DOF (foreground and background relatively sharper, along with subject) use wider angle and smaller aperture (e.g. f/11+).
