have you heard the term core micro sd card before?
how does that differ from a regular sd card?

Google is your friend. It appears to just be a brand name... available on Best Buy (Canada) web site, others.

Oh, by all means ask away! I didn't mean to discourage you from asking... it's just quicker sometimes to go out searching for basic information first, and then turn here for more details or opinions/advice/biases.
