I'm trying to get my prints to look like what I see on my screen.
So I've purchased SpyderPRO with OptiCAL and used it to set up my screen.
I shoot RAW using Adobe RGB on a 10D.
I have Photoshop CS set to Adobe RBG. I open the image and assign Adobe RGB.
I manipulate the image till it looks great on screen and then print to a brand new Canon i9000 with Fuji Premium Photo paper. I set colour management to be the same as the document and print space to be the same as the source.
The resulting prints are sharp but unsaturated and lack a lot of contrast.
Any ideas what else I can try?

I can't help without first asking a few questions. If you are setting your Print Space to same as source, what is your setting in the printer driver? How are you telling the printer to color manage the picture? What paper are you selecting in the printer driver? Did you save your monitor profile as the default monitor profile? Have you tried some Canon paper as a reference?

Q Image for printing, and let it color manage. Also, don't bother with Adobe RGB as you can get 'muddy' flat looking prints.
I have an i950 and a i9100 and the images are as per the screen. Printing from PS can be a lottery unless you are prepared to spend time/money in color profiling your printer. I would suggest Ilford Gallerie with your printer.
