For downloading raw images because when you have a 50 to 100 pictures in raw File Viewer is not speedy gonzales.any experience with other programs?

Are you sure that it's slow because of the software you are using?

Do you download the images by connecting your camera to the computer or are you using a card reader? Remember that your digital camera only has a slow USB 1.1 interface; with a fast (Firewire or USB 2.0) card reader, things will go faster.

I use a USB 2.0 card reader and just use Windows Explorer to copy the contents of the card to the PC.
