These were taken at Mount Hutt Ski Field's (about an hour from Christchurch, NZ).

was a bit too close for comfort with the rescue (red and yellow) chopper, covered me in rotor wash when it took off.

Awesome pictures. If you could have delayed the shutter just a bit, you could have got some great blade blur. But awesome non the less.
