Venice is a well-known place for lovers. During my recent visit I was looking forward to catch something related to the romance Venice is claimed to provide. Will this shot do that?
(Somebody might ask so b&w version >here< (http://www.laasanen.net/POTN/IMG_3659-01_love-venice-bw.jpg). Might be better ...)

IMO, a lower angle showing the couple's legs will work better for this shot.
Maybe expose the first bell a little more.(the one closer to you).
But I do find the people in the background a little bit of a distraction....maybe you could have motion blurred them to shot that they're goin about their own business?
Just my newbie comments:)

Just my newbie comments:)Very good comments JF4E. I very much agree on what you said about the composition, unfortunately, I was not able to capture more wider view, to include both the bell and the couple with legs.
I have already opened the bell as much as I could without having too much noise on that. Blurring the background people is something I will try. Now I have only de-saturated them compared to the couple.

It's a nice shot Olli. When I was in Venice for a day this summer, I found it really hard to get those a little bit different shots... Too many people all over the place. Venice is really crowded! I like your shot though :)

Thanks for your comment Fi100111010000100 (or is it FiTurku :) You're very right about the masses of people strolling on the streets of Venice. Some best shots I was able to get early in the morning, before 7am or late night.

Bugger Olli, you broke my code... or the code of my nick... :) Took the first (or second) train we could from the Garda region, so we didn't get there before 10-isch... and it was crowded already.
And this is my 300th post! ;)
