the ONLY thing I like about this photo is the colors... nothing else...
Let me give an explanation (this is not a steep skating thing)
I live on an island off the coast of Texas... and well when there is a hurricane, it floods... So around 1900 they built a wall to protect the island from flooding, and well it has been there since then, and this is where the seawall ends.

I agree that colours of the rusty concrete look good and the graffiti adds a bit of interest. I think I might crop out the distant scenery on the right and some of the dark shaddow. Watch out for hurriacanes!

I am so used to cropping on paper, now, from photography class, that when I test crops I, I place paper around the photo to see what is good (well in photography class I use paper towels for some reason) so now, here I am, with phothshop, and I old my map up to the binder to look at crops...
I am debating on whether I like the right hand side or not...
What does everyone else think?

I like this shot. The strong colour, the shape and lines. What about lifting the brightness a bit in the shadow of the wall. I can see some grafiti in there that makes me want to see more. I agree with the crop suggestion although, that might affect the overall ballance of the shot. And if you're not averse to a bit of photoshoppin' how about a different sky?
Still, I like it
