Nice shots. That night one is really cool. I've always wanted to go to one of these events.

there's a cheaper way to crawl on rox but that's a cool machine and the first shot, havn't seen them runing at night b4 that worked out pretty good. looks like you got a sensor glob.

Mike, You definitely got a few great angles on this vehicle. I think the night shot came out well. :D
I'm curious now, what was this rig originally? Or at least, What is the drive train from?

Thanks Bruce for your comments and intrest...That rig is what's called a Formula Toy. It's a spec class based competition rock crawler with a Toyota running gear and a Hendrex tube frame. These were some of the photos shot for a upcommming story in 4X4 Builder magazine that will be called something along the line of "The anatomy of F-Toy" This class is designed to attract the lower budget competitor to increase entrants in the sport. All must have the same frame, 4-cyl Toyota engine and is growing in popularity. Heres a link ...http://www.pirate4x4.com/formula_toy/ By the way, you have the coolest avatar hope yoo don't mind if I emulated your idea...The Speedgraphic on mine was my Dad's. He was proud of me when I got my first magazine job and gave it to me. I also used it to shoot my first cover with.

Thanks for the link to the Pirate 4x4 site. Interesting stuff there. :D
