Ok girls, well maybe some of you guys too, but i doubt it. I am curious about what sort of makeup you wear when you shoot.
Personally I am the type of girl that rarely wears make up, and when I do its very light and only when I want to dress up a good bit. A wedding or nice party is a time that I would normally do this.
I am wondering if you guys wear any sort of makeup. I find that when I have on eye makeup it bothers me, and and sort of power foundation on my face just ends up all over my camera.

I never wear makeup. This is mostly because I find the feel of makeup to be annoying on my skin, but also partly because I feel that I (and all other women) can dress up and look fine without it.

Most women look better without makeup. Just little insecurities caused by the media thats makes most women wear it. From an artistic/photographic POV it can look good if they are air brushed. The only thing I would ever wear is a little foundation to cover up blemishes. Never got much on my camera, maybe a little that I had to get rid of with a cotton bud:lol:

I am not young anymore and I wear liquid foundation, eye liner and shadow. That's it. I try not to wear lipstick at a shoot because it rubs off usually. My goal at the events is not to stick out, but be in the shadows. I like to have that stealthy attitude so people aren't necessarily posing all the time. I'm not opposed to people looking as nice as possible, but comfort is #1 with me.

Serious, if you wore make-up at a wedding, I'd be staring at you CDI!

Good. I always did have trouble getting everyone's attention during formals...:)

when i first started out i had eye make up on once and it got all over the viewfinder frame thingy. i didnt like it. its easier without it. a little powder and that is it for me, i am good to go.
if its a wedding or a special occasion, i try to look al ittle nicer, but nothing heavy -

Glad to here, I am not the only woman that doesn't wear alot of make up. Its rare that I do, like I said mostly only if I am required to. If I put on a dress I put on a little bit of make up, I put on a dress maybe one time a year. I am a t-shirt and jeans kinda gal.
The idea of wearing it and rubbing my face on against a black 5d is distrubing.
My mom stays on my butt, and I say, "Mom photographers don't wear makeup"

I wear makeup often. Never had much trouble when shooting. Generally I do get some on the LCD, but it still gets smudged anyway without makeup on. Just wipe it off.
For daily wear it's generally foundation & perhaps a bit of powder. I've shot in full makeup; foundation, powder, eye shadow, mascara & lipstic. No problems.

Interesting question :) I find that "powdering my nose" actually keeps my LCD cleaner. I never use foundation though, and only a touch of eye-makeup (mascara and sometimes eyeshadow).
