Well not really. I was trying to get the effect in PSP 11. Albumen process, an early method of making a paper based prints from 1855 to the 1890s. Negatives were done on glass, and the print was then created on paper that used albumen from egg whites to bind the light-sensitive chemical to the paper

Thanks for the comment, No secret at all. It's a new effect in the new Corel Paint shop Pro 11, actually it's one of several under the heading "time Machine"
they have 7 that emulate some of the old photo processing methods including early color, You set the intensity then just tweak the results the why you would any other photo.

very effective. It definitely has an old photo appearance. Excellent photo choice for the effect as well. :)

Nice effect I like the shot. I googled albumen process and yours seems to have more color than the few examples I found. I found 1 that had a cast of greenish over the entire example.

I came across the word ghosts on a previous post. I was listening to some music and "Ghostbusters" was playing at that time.

The albumen process pretty much covers the entire spectrum from almost B&W, some green tinge to sepia, even color here is an example of an original with the sepia.

one with a green tinge

and one that has color to it.

I do feel that I had to much sepia in mine.
