ISO 100 & 1D

Has anyone used the ISO100 setting with the 1D and if so, how were the results compared to 200. From what I hear, Canon dosen't recommend 100 thats why they put it on the extended setting.

ISO 100 is just fine with the 1D. The reason it is an option is because most of we sport shooters use relatively high ISO's and the 1D was designed for us and PJ's as the main users. The only time I use anything under ISO 400 is for the odd static, well lit team shot or driver portrait.
