Well ... it IS that season, you know ....

The following is from the Pope (in white) at Milton (in red) 5A matchup Friday night. Pope came in at 2-1, Milton was at 1-2. Milton opened up a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and the night looked to be pretty boring .... But Pope mounted a huge comeback during the next 3 quarters but came up short - final score: Milton - 42; Pope - 40.

As always, comments and critiques and suggestions for improvement are always welcomed ....

All images shot with a Canon Mark II and 400 2.8.

Love the anticipation of the first shot. I know were in an age of everything needing to be tac sharp but to me... the blur of the ball adds to the shot. Well done.

Thanks for the comments, one and all ...

Mark, that same ball is in shot #4 ..... but it's kinda hard to pick it out because it's right at the goal post in the background .... but that little blurry blip is actually the ball arriving at the receiver .....

I am not sure it is the the downsizing here or not but it looks to like noise removal was used and too much at that...having said that I love the action...good timing etc...

Cheers,
