I just bought the canon powershot s50. i found that my battery will end in just 1 hours! is it normal? the battery model is canon NB2L. I off the flash light, but the LCD is on during i take those photo... anyone please help me!

New batteries need charging a couple of times before they are "Fully" charged.
also turn off that LCD...use the viewfinder. also carry a spare battery.

I didnt time how long my battery will last..normally i can take up to 100-120 pics before the battery finishing. Turning off the lcd would help a lot too.

I had the same issue.

I decided to visit Ebay.ca

And I found a seller who sells nothing but aftermarket batteries for camera's

I won the auction for $14.99(US) and after I emailed the guy he was willing to sell an additional at the same price.

They work great..and now i don't have to worry.

This dude is always got the batt's on ebay.
