videos from s200 are all black with static on the bottom

For some reason all my videos that I have taken with all my Canon cameras over the years are showing up all black with a line of colored "snow" on the bottom. They do this in the thunmbnail in XP as well as when I play them with any video player.

Please tell me there's a fix for this. TIA

well i think it was because ATI file player took over the file. I removed the player and it's fine.
