Hi. Just got my A70. How do I make the shutter speed on indoor flash shots higher than 1/60 sec? I have tried the "action" mode, still stays at 1/60. Sure would be nice to get a higher shutter speed to help me freeze movement indoors when using flash.
Thanks...

It should work just fine in "Manual" mode. Just turn the knob to 'M', then select any shutter speed you want.

The fastest you can go with the built in flash is 1/500. This is because any faster and the shutter would obscure part of the flash.

The flash duration itself lasts for an extremely short time and will freeze almost any action. The shutter speed selected will only affect ambient light trails.
If the ambient light too strong, you may get a bit of a ghost streak and alternatively if the ambient light is low enough, you'll get a sharp movement with no streaks even at 1/60th or longer.
