Something a bit odd happens with Breezebrowser's thumbnail view.
I edit .jpg images and save them under a different filename. Then the original and edited versions show up correctly in BB's thumbnail view. The next step is to copy EXIF data from original to the edited file. Then I look again at (refreshed) thumbnail view in Breezebrower, and the edits are apparently lost: the new file shows up as identical to the original. However, looking at the new file in detail gives the correct edited version.
In Irfanview the edited file is displayed correctly in the thumbnail view.
Eventually I found an option in Breezebrowser to ignore thumbnails: then it is slower, but the thumbnail view is correct.
I guess that BB copies the embedded thumbnail jpg as well as copying EXIF data.
Is this correct? If so, why does Breezebrowser copy thumbnails as well as EXIF data? If it's not correct, then what's going on?
