I might be overlooking it but does the Canon web site have manuals for their flashes that you can download? I found the camera downloads but not the flashes. I was going to purchase a 550EX off ebay with no manual thinking I could just download it off Canon's web site, but...... hummm.

Thanks, but I broke down and bought a new one! The 550 that is... so many features and not enough time to learn the darn thing!

No kidding! It's as complicated as the camera is. Sweet flash though. Does a nice job when you learn it. A lot of people whine and cry about E-TTL, but once you learn it, it's pretty awesome.

Isn't this the case in about 90% of the complaints about most of the cameras and equipment? There's the old saying -- RTFM

Well guess what! I am now one of those whinners who's trying to learn the ETTL!!!! :x I will not let this little piece of electronic equipment get the best of me though. I'm on my 1100th frame in about 2 weeks, so I'm shooting and learning. So far... nothing. Anyone have any suggestions? I have started using the AE lock button to lock on to what I would preceive to be a netural part of the frame. That looks like it's working. But any thoughts from anyone else would be wonderful.
