would anyone reccomend moving from a 350d rebel xt to a 10d.. similiar price at the moment..

cons

350d.. to small without grip... to big with it..plasticy and uncomfortable in general

10d... less megapixels(not that important).. no efs lenses(i think) = no ultrawide option like canon efs 10-22

pros

350d - im used to the controls and layout..more megapixels and new techonology i think

10d.. i like the feel and size of 10-20d-30d.. cheaper.. put some more towards lenses


ive thought about upgrading to a 20d but with the price of 350d i would have to add a couple hundred to make the difference.. with the 350d i would make a bit of money

After I upgrade to a 20d or 1d I plan to do the same. The only thing I think you forgot is the 10d's startup time of 2 seconds.

I'd have to go for image quality and responsiveness of the XT over the 10D.
The 10D has more features but waiting for the 10D to turn on/off, review on the LCD, and the write speed is too long. Plus the Digic II has better image quality anyway.

Oh did I mention better Image quality?
