Getting Published

I would love to see if I can get any of my work published but I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

Submit photos to magazines, newspapers, contests, etc. Offer your services to non-profit organizations, their publications, etc.

It's easy to get published.... whether you get paid for it or not is another matter.

Your question is pretty vague or broad brushed. Where do your interests lie. Where are your strengths that you can exploit them to your advantage.

Take some time and read some of the threads on here about getting started. You will find some real life experiences of a number of different people and how they went about it.

Bottom line, it is damn hard work. It is more than just sending in a few shots here and there and hoping. That does happen but only to the very lucky people in the world (timing is everything when dealing with luck). You have to knock on doors, sell yourself, be confident, be able to take critque without having a hissy fit, be able to accept rejection time and time again.
