Hi,

I'd like to know of experiences in digitalizing 35 mm slides using an A540 or similar camera. Anybody?

Thanks.

It'll be messy - you'd need an evenly-lit mount with a white background to hold the slide properly-spaced from the camera and parallel to the sensor plane. If you only have a couple, it'll be cheaper to scan them on a flatbed scanner that accepts transparencies or to have them scanned professionally. If you have a lot, buy (or rent) a dedicated slide scanner and sell it off when you're done. If you do it yourself, however you do it, you'll need to get the slides immaculate or spend a lot of time getting rid of hte dust marks.
