Well, done! Your wife and you both :) I like the second pic better, since there is not so much glare, especially on the eyes. When you say composite, is that the same as focus stacking?

In your wife's hair??!!! Oh my god that is horrible lol - I hate shield bugs (but I dont mind taking their pics lol) - the very thought of it makes me cringe lol.

Very nice shots Lester, I like both of them, can't decided between the non crop and cropped version, they both look good. You did a nice job of the lighting - it's just right imho. Did you wife freak out with the bug in her hair, or was she calm?

Thanks Bea. Alsmost the same as focus stack, just had two frames in CS2 and mask one off with a soft edge brush. The focus stack software was too confussed to be effective.

Yes, the find was signalled with a lot of noise about 2 octaves above middle C. :)

Thanks Dave. The lighting was just my standard MT-24 setup, as noted by Bea the glare is a bit high on #1.
Yep, she freaked quite well - I had to pick it out for her.
