Hi Guys
I just got a decent digital camera ( A700) and am
suddenly besotted with the venerable monochrome...
amazed that the wet darkroom is being reproduced to some extent in the digital darkroom. ( treads carefully :) )
Loving reading books on the topic.
Barry Thornton's film book "Edge of Darkness" ...
The art, craft and power of the high-definition monochrome photograph
has me gripped at the moment.
Could never afford to explore mono back in my Spotmatic days so this is great :) even had a little sucess in a competition no less :) which certainly is encouraging :)
Very interested to see black only printing is not only an economical option but also could be excellent if used well.
