I've been doing these Golf Tournaments for about 7 years now, working with a friend of mine who has a local amateur sports TV show.
Basically, I'll take pictures of the 4 somes all over the course, then take the images back to the club house and print them out on a color laser printer.
Quality of the laser is acceptable for this type of event since we sacrifice quality for speed.
todays event was a small tourny with only 22 4 somes.
Here are a couple of shots and the setup we bring with us,

Saw this bird on the side of the path, but it flew away as we stopped.

The above setup is a Dell 3.0ghz Pentium 4, 17" LCD we bought last year, and a Dell 3000 Printer we bought earlier this year. We are using Photoshop CS now.
(I got my little brother to drive me around today and help with the folders)
We used to use a Pentium2 450mhz, 15" CRT, Photoshop 5.5 and an HP 4500DN Printer.
The HP Printer is much better than the Dell in quality and colors, but is much larger and almost 70lbs heavier (twice the weight of the Dell).
I enjoy doing these events as it is basically a one day thing, after everything is printed and put into folders with transparent covers and given to the players, we are done.
