One of my favorites from a trip through the most remote corner of the state.

Edit: Re-edited because I realized I didn't like the sky tones (old version (http://www.kurtwindisch.com/albums/wcrm3_5-posts/IMG_9442.jpg))

Thanks!

Hehe, Thanks. Reload and see if it's still beautiful but a little less fake looking . I just updated the image with slightly less saturated sky (old one linked for reference)

It's in the far south-east corner of the state north of Jordon Valley. Dirt roads off Hwy 95 or 210 take you to Succor Creek Road, and then Leselie Gulch Road. The gulch feeds down into Lake Owyhee.

It's a really unbelievable place...staggeringly unique for Oregon. Lots of other terrific, unexpected stuff in the area too.

Not a lot of info around about it. I found info about it in the book, Oregon Byways (http://www.amazon.com/Oregon-Byways-Tony-Huegels-Backcountry/dp/0899972772/sr=8-1/qid=1159416115/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-0857040-7503948?ie=UTF8&s=books), and Oregon for the Curious.

Here's a few more, one featuring my mode of transport.
