I'm quite new to digital photography, and i dont have a digicam. I'm just basically a snapshooter, but i feel like having a bit more control over the images these days, hence my choice - the Canon A80. I havent bought it as yet though, i want to know, should i buy this camera after all, since i think i'll mainly be viewing these pictures on the computer, ( hence a 2Mp Canon A60 would probably fit the bill and save me about $200 ). BUT i think that with a camera like the A80 ill be printing more pictures than i think i would, and probably some 8*10" enlargements as well. This purchase has to last at least 2-3 years ( no camera upgrades any time soon). So, should i buy an A80 , since it is more capable for printing ( a weeee bit more 'future proof'?) AND that i can crop in more closely when required, or should i buy the A60 ( pl dont recommend the A70, my cousin got 2 of them with E-18 errors ). Is the A60 as unreliable? The A80, so far at least, is more reliable than the A70.
Would appreciate an early reply.

I felt that the A80's rotating LCD was advantage enough to merit it as a must have.. it has a slightly larger zoom range too does it not? (I may be thinking of the S400 compared to earlier "elf" cameras)

Anyway,. the A80 was high on my list of must have compact digitals. A great camera.
